Job Summary

This position instructs Basic Life Support and/or Advance Life Support classes to employees. Assist in course set up and coordination.

 

Essential Functions

  • Maintain knowledge and skills current in ACLS, BLS or PALS.

 

  • Instruct AHA Life Support courses.

 

  • Assist in course set up and coordination.

 

 

Minimum Qualifications

AHA Basic Life Support. Certified American Heart Association (AHA) Basic Life Support Instructor, ACLS Instructor or PALS Instructor.

Certified American Heart Association (AHA) Basic Life Support Instructor. Knowledge of age appropriate learning principles. Must have advance presentation skills, effective verbal and written communication skills, and organizational skills. If teaching ACLS or PALS, Certified American Heart.

Preferred Qualifications

Healthcare experience preferred.

Additional related education and/or experience preferred.
