Banner Health is looking for an IT Congierge Specialist to join their team at the Banner Health Corporate Center Phoenix Plaza, located on Thomas and Central in Phoenix, AZ. This position will be the primary point of contact for enterprise Banner workforce to manage IT requests, workflow of customer service activities and the responsibility for providing user support for assigned IT activities. This position is responsible for managing and ensuring timely customer interactions.

This position provides high quality customer service to the hospital communities in relation to all information technology functions and will assist the team members in the role of managing and coordinating projects assigned to the facility. Position activities include attending routine facility project meetings and participating in the support of major information technology and facility driven projects.
Must possess strong knowledge as normally obtained through the completion of a bachelors degree in related field plus 2 years experience in a healthcare environment or an equivalent combination of relevant education, technical, business and healthcare experience typically achieved in 4 years of experience.
Must have in-depth working knowledge of hardware and software components to ensure the operability of the information technology infrastructure and application systems, such as knowing application hardware memory requirements or applications which require alternations to standard desktop package. Must demonstrate general knowledge of information technology and healthcare. Needs experience in small scale project planning and reporting either individual or team. Requires ability to communicate, and interact across facilities and at various levels. Successful candidate will have skills to mentor less experienced team members.
