This is a part time (16 hours per week) position that provides support to the Director of the Foundation. Distributes proposals and solicits sponsors for special events. Develops and establishes relationships with donors for each project. Recruits and trains volunteers for special events. Delegates and priortizes work assignments for the administrative support staff, volunteers, interns, and temporary employees. Responsible for updating special events financial records and for updating the Donor Master files, when appropriate.

Looking for the following qualifications:

A high school diploma is required. A Bachelor's Degree in Public Relations, Marketing, Business Administration, or related field is strongly preferred.

Two years of experience in a professional office enviornment. Must possess the ability to establish priorities and to organize multiple tasks of self and others simultaneously. Previous experience experience with fund raising experience, knowledge of marketing, public realtions, and nonprofit organization funtions is strongly preferred

Job Summary

Responsible for updating special events financial records and for updating the Donor Master files, when appropriate.

 

Essential Functions

  • Distributes proposals and solicits sponsors for special events. Establishes and develops relationships with donors for specific projects. Updates the Donor Master files with donor gift history, changes in personal status, or changes in business status.

 

  • Recruits and trains volunteers for special events. Oversees, prioritizes, and delegates work assignment to volunteers, administrative staff, and temporary employees for special events.

 

  • Oversees the utilization of donor gifts directed to specific programs, creates memorial plaques for families/donors.

 

  • Maintains financial records for each event and provides appropriate reports, as necessary.

 

  • Supplies Foundation information as needed to the board and committees.

 

 

Minimum Qualifications
