The Banner Estrella ICU/MOSU is a 24 bed integrated critical care/intermediate care unit. We serve medical, cardiovascular, pulmonary, renal, and surgical patients.
We are hiring for a full time night shift Nursing Assistant. Our ideal candidate will be a certified Nursing Assistant (LNA by 12/2018), be BLS certified, acute care experience and will exhibit the 3 E's - Energy, Enthusiasm and Excitement!
The shift hours are 6p - 6:30a / three 12 hour shifts per week with a weekend and holiday rotation

This position provides routine patient care to promote patient comfort and contribute to the overall patient plan of care. This position is responsible for on-going patient data collection and documentation in the medical record; provides a variety of unit support functions which contribute to the overall efficient operation of the nursing unit/department.
High school diploma/GED or equivalent working knowledge.
Current BLS certification. In Arizona: Current Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) or Licensed Nursing Assistant (LNA) in state of practice is required for new hires and transfers. All existing incumbents must also obtain the LNA by the earliest of either their renewal date or 12/31/18 (includes an extended deadline to 12/31/19 for Tucson only). Outside of Arizona: Current Certified Nursing Assistant in state of practice is required.
Must possess excellent organizational skills, as well as effective human relations and communication skills. Working knowledge of medical terminology and computer literacy and keyboarding skills is required.
Depending on department assignment, receive a minimum passing score of 85% on ECG or EEG test with accurate identification of all lethal cardiac dysrhythmias and epileptiform activity is required. Successful completion of either a unit approved basic electrocardiogram interpretation course or electroencephalographic interpretation course, or on the job training is also required.
Recent healthcare experience preferred.
Additional related education and/or experience preferred.
