As a Nurse in the Pacemaker Clinic you will ensure appropriate care and follow-up for all Pacemaker Clinic patients. Other responsibilities include remote monitoring, analysis of transmissions, completing remote transmission reports, and communicating any alarm conditions to the appropriate cardiologist in a time-appropriate manner. In your role as the Pacemaker Clinic RN, you will be the primary liaison between patients, staff and physicians and conduct family and patient education for pacemakers and ICD’s.
In addition to the requirements listed in the job description below, a Registered Nurse for the Pacemaker Clinic will have previous experience with pacemaker and ICD interrogations and reprogramming as well as, clinical and industry experience with remote monitoring of pacemakers preferred, ICD’s and implanted loop recorders.
Location: Banner - University Medical Center Tucson, AZ
Schedule: 5x8 hour shifts, no on call required. Position covers associated clinics as well as the hospital.

Must maintain clinical performance competencies appropriate to the area in which they work as demonstrated through annual validations. Banner Registry and Travel acute care positions require a minimum of one year experience in an acute care hospital setting. Experience must include working in an acute care setting within the past 12 months as a Registered Nurse in the specialty area. Banner Registry and Travel physician practice positions require a minimum of one year experience as a Registered Nurse in a physician practice or an acute care setting.
Bachelors degree preferred.Professional certification preferred.
