As Services Director for Hospice, you will join the Banner Hospice and Palliative Care leadership team to lead our west valley branch. You will direct and guide overall operations for this location. You will provide leadership and guidance to our team of clinical services managers, volunteer leader, and bereavement program coordinator. Bring your expertise in healthcare operations to lead the team in the pursuit of producing excellent outcomes and results. You will provide leadership to ensure that the care provided is of the highest clinical and service quality and provided in a financially responsible manner.
A professional candidate with a background in psychosocial services (Maters in Social Work, Masters in Counseling, etc.) or business development/operations (MBA, MHA, etc.) will be highly considered!

This position is responsible for developing and implementing strategies for the designated service line/division. This position provides leadership and direction in the pursuit of producing targeted results and ensuring that the care provided is of the highest clinical and service quality and provided in a financially responsible manner.
Requires a level of business and clinical knowledge as normally obtained through the completion of a Masters Degree in business administration, health services administration or related field.
May require current clinical and/or administrator licensure in state of practice based on regulatory requirements and clinical scope.
Knowledge of healthcare management as typically obtained through five years of progressive experience in healthcare operations. Must possess a strong knowledge and understanding of healthcare trends and financial management of healthcare operations. Knowledge of the requirements of the various regulatory and accrediting agencies as applicable. Requires strong written and oral communication skills. Must demonstrate strong decision-making, critical thinking and group facilitation skills along with the ability to lead change and to rapidly prioritize needs. Ability to develop strong relationships with suppliers and customers. Analytical and critical thinking skills are required to integrate and interpret data from diverse sources. Ability to integrate information to establish business priorities, decisions and budgets.
Must be highly computer literate.
BSN highly preferred for Home Care service line.
Additional related education and/or experience preferred.
