The Chandler Warehouse/Pharmacy is seeking a full time Maintenance Coordinator to work during the day. Occasionally the business needs will require the working hours to shift to evenings or nights. The successful Maintenance Coordinator candidate will possess the competency of an HVAC tech, including a working knowledge and experience in the areas of air handling systems, pneumatic controls, digital controls, computers, pneumatic tube systems, EPA certification for refrigeration, hand & power tools, and refrigeration systems. In addition, the ideal candidate will have the ability to work well with others as part of a team, alone with minimal direction, safe work habits, attention to detail and sense of urgency to complete assigned tasks. This position performs maintenance activities in a wide variety of general maintenance functions to include electrical, plumbing, painting and HVAC. Incumbents are the singular maintenance responder for the facility and report to an off-site supervisor or manager.
High school diploma/GED or equivalent working knowledge and vocational, technical, HVAC or apprenticeship training.
Some facilities or departments, depending on business need, may require proof of a valid drivers license and eligibility for coverage under the company auto insurance policy.
The position requires four or more years of diversified work experience as a maintenance technician with demonstrated maintenance or related skills. Must be able to exercise independent decision making and judgment in the performance of all duties. Requires the ability to work safely and effectively with maintenance equipment. Chlorofluorocarbons (CFC) certification is required depending on assignment. Must be proficient in reading and understanding related and required maintenance and construction documents.Requires working knowledge and certification as required of applicable regulatory codes, and State and local building codes. Effective verbal and written communication skills are required.
Must be able to work effectively with common office software programs.
Journeyman level tradesman. Previous construction experience is preferred. 3-5 years of previous healthcare Facilities Services experience is preferred.
Additional related education and/or experience preferred.
