McKee Medical Center is looking for an Emergency Department Technician in beautiful Northern Colorado. This Emergency Department Technician position is 36-hours per week working nights from 6pm - 6am and includes working every other weekend. The successful Emergency Department Technician candidate will have a current EMT license and IV certification.

This position is responsible for providing patient care and assists health care providers in performing assigned patient procedures within scope of training. Position receives general supervision from RN, APN, PA, or Physician in providing patient care.

All current CNA incumbents as of 12/4/16 must obtain the LNA by the earliest of either their renewal date or an alternate deadline communicated with staff. (Includes an extended deadline to 12/31/19 for Tucson only). In Colorado: Either Emergency Medical TechnicianBasic (EMT-B) with state licensure, or EMT National registry certification. Outside of Arizona or Colorado: Either Emergency Medical TechnicianBasic (EMT-B) with state licensure, or EMT National registry certification, or Certified Nursing Assistant in state of practice is required.
