The future is full of possibilities. At Banner Health, we’re excited about what the future holds for health care. That’s why we’re changing the industry to make the experience the best it can be. Our team has come together with the common goal: Make health care easier, so life can be better.  The future of health care starts here. If you’re ready to change lives, we want to hear from you. Apply today. In December of 2017, Banner University Medical Center – Phoenix  opened a new 40 bed Observation Unit. The Observation unit will allow our team to deliver the safest and highest quality care to our customers. Come join our Observation team making healthcare easier. The Observation unit fills a universal need by providing a setting of care for patients not requiring an inpatient admission to receive additional diagnostic workup or therapeutic intervention beyond the scope of a typical Emergency Department visit. The growth of observation medicine has been driven by innovations in health care, an ongoing shift of patients from inpatient to outpatient settings. Observation medicine encompasses the management of appropriate patients for a timeframe of 6 to 24 hours in order to assess their need for inpatient admission or discharge them home. Relative to traditional admission, studies have shown this alternative to have several beneficial health care outcomes.   Your pay and benefits (Total Rewards) are important components of your Journey at Banner Health. Banner Health offers a variety of benefit plans to help you and your family. We provide health and financial security options so you can focus on being the best at what you do and enjoying your life If you are a New Graduate Nurse with less than 12 months of experience, please apply to our New Nurse Experience openings.

Nursing - Telemetry / Progressive Care
The growth of observation medicine has been driven by innovations in healthcare, an ongoing shift of patients from inpatient to outpatient settings. Observation medicine encompasses the management of appropriate patients for a timeframe of 6 to 24 hours in order to assess their need for inpatient admission or discharge them home. Relative to traditional admission, studies have shown this alternative to have several beneficial health care outcomes. You will also have the opportunity utilize our self-scheduling tool for shift and weekend coverage. Enjoy an 18%-night shift differential and a flat rate $3/hour weekend shift differential.  Hours are 7p-730a, 3 days a week. Your pay and benefits (Total Rewards) are important components of your Journey at Banner Health.
